Primary Account information
Tinxy app allows you to control Tinxy IOT devices. So for security reasons all users have to signup before they can access their Tinxy devices from the app.
We are using your Primary Account (Google sign in/ SMS Login) information to log you in securely into the app.
We collect your email and name for 1. We can authenticate you 2. Whenever you share (or others share) your Tinxy devices with someone , they can identify you.

If you decide to register for an account (or access your account) through an authentication service (such as Google Accounts or Clever as a Single Sign On, also known as a SSO) (“Authentication Service”), we may collect information from these third-party services, consistent with your privacy settings in your account with the relevant Authentication Service.
Phone Number
We are gathering your phone number so that we can securely sign you in by sending an OTP via SMS. This is a very secure way of logging into the app and to access your IOT devices
Location Information
We need location permission to scan your WiFi router for
1. SSID of your WiFi
2. To know if your WiFi is using 5G band.
If you deny, you can manually enter your WiFi SSID (wifi name). We require this information to help you pair your device with your WiFi router and our servers.
Network Information
We require network information to help you pair your device with your WiFi router and our servers. Pairing the device requires us to know if the app is connected to a specific network e.g. Device’s own wifi
WiFi Multicast State Information
We need WiFi multicast information to help you pair your device with your WiFi router and our servers.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
